TRUSTWORTHINESS: This needs to be upheld your students need to be able to trust you before anything else how can you be trusted with their learning and education if you cannot gain their trust as an educator and teacher.
RESPECT: Respect needs to be across the board, respect for your students and their whanau, your school and its environment. When you've earned respect then it in turn will be reciprocated.
RESPONSIBILITY: You as a teacher need to be responsible and professional you are been trusted to look after and nurture your students learning. This is a huge responsibility and one that you need to maintain.
FAIRNESS: To be a good teacher you also must be fair. Your students must never feel that they have been hard done by or that they are been judged unfairly this will not gain their trust or their respect. You must be fair and just in every situation that arises.
CARING: This goes without saying how could you even want to be a teacher without this value all children need to be cared and nurtured. All children should know that they can trust you and that you care.
I couldnt work out how to edit citizenship out lol i dont believe this to be an important value.
