teaching effectiveness

Every child will be able to back to school and vividly remember he/she's favorite teacher this teacher will have had an impact on this child's learning because of their effectiveness. this is the teacher I want to be for all my future tauira.
I believe I will be able to do this by firstly, by not ever stopping loving to teach. I want to always have a passion for teaching and nurturing our tamariki's education. This will be done through seeing every child as an individual and their learning needs will also be individual so I will always try to cater for their needs as a learner. The time that a child spends in my class I will try to give each and every one a learning experience that will be totally holistic and most of all fun I truly believe that learning needs to be fun. You also have to be caring your children need to feel safe with you and within the classroom. This does not mean that you are a pushover every child needs boundaries, rules and high expectations, if they know you have high expectations and they will go out of their way to please you if you have built a relationship or trust and caring.
I also believe that to be an effective teacher you have to never stop wanting to learn or change because learning should be lifelong and change will happen continually whether it be personal or technological or emotional etc. So you can never get set in your ways you always will have to change and adapt to suit.
From the short teaching experience I've had out at practicum the biggest highlight was seeing the children learn and remember the things you taught them. The knowledge that you have made a difference even if it is minute is huge in the bigger picture of their education. To be able to do this as a career every day to all different children will be amazing I cant wait!!!!!!
